Siauliai centre of production

The event will show an especially successful example of constructive cooperation between politics and economy. The consequent strategy for regional development of Prof. Prunskiene, current Lithuanian minister of agriculture, blends in perfectly with a show concept tailor-made for the highly developed agricultural production area of the Siauliai region.

The organisers had noticed during the past years that only few decision makers of the breeding and agricultural production sectors have visited AgroBalt in Vilnius . This year the suppliers of these branches gather in the very centre of production – in Siauliai . The 2006 edition of AgroBalt promises a broad display of all sectors of agricultural production, stock breeding and primary processing in excellent quality.

The biggest live stock show ever organised in the Baltic States

On 3.7 ha, more than 360 stock breed animals will be shown, among which 44 milk cattle, 50 meat cattle, 70 pigs, 90 horses, numerous poultry breeds, fur animals, etc. International exhibitors will bring milk cattle, heifers and sheep (from Germany , Estonia and Netherlands ). All breeders associations will take part in the exhibition and numerous suppliers of the branches displaying their offer of feed, stable technology and veterinarology from abroad will attend.

Agricultural technology – Show – Forum for the leading brands

On approx. 3,000 m² net exhibition space outdoors, the two important Lithuanian agricultural technology traders associations show a wide range of state-of-the-art soil working, tractors and harvesting machinery, as well as all kind of accessories for the agricultural production. All important international brands will be represented here.

The sectors of plant breeding, greenhouse technology, as well as fertilizer and chemical plant protection are also well represented at AgroBalt this year.

Food processing and products

Also this sector is well represented at AgroBalt. Litfood (the Lithuania food export promotion institution) organises a show of Lithuanian food manufacturers giving a good orientation about the local development level of this branch. The foreign manufacturers of food technology will find qualified contacts in this context.
